Arhimod Celebrates 8 Years of Existence

On January 26, 2018, the Arhimod story began.
An idea that was clear but challenging at the time—to develop in Serbia a modern, reliable, and flexible construction system that would respond to the real needs of people—today, eight years later, stands behind numerous completed projects and a recognizable name in modular construction.

At the moment Arhimod was founded, modular construction was an almost unknown concept on the domestic market. There were many prejudices, uncertainties, and skepticism. In those early years, the environment often did not believe in the idea itself. It was said that in Serbia “concrete and brick are the only real construction” and that people would not trust innovations. Arhimod began its journey in exactly such an environment, with a clear vision that quality, knowledge, and perseverance could change the mindset of the market.

Instead of following existing patterns, we decided to build our own system—step by step, module by module, without shortcuts.

From the very beginning, the focus was on quality, safety, and the long-term value of buildings. Our modular buildings are designed to be durable, energy-efficient, safe, and fully adaptable to the needs of clients. The idea was never to create “quick solutions,” but to build homes and facilities that make sense—today and in the years to come.

Over eight years of work, we have completed more than 100 modular buildings across Serbia and the region—from family houses and weekend homes to commercial, tourist, and multi-story buildings. Each project brought its own challenges, but also confirmation that modular construction, when done seriously and responsibly, represents a stable and reliable system.

The greatest advantage of Arhimod throughout all these years is the fact that we have never been a standard or serial construction company. There are no universal solutions with us. Each building is designed and manufactured individually, according to the request and wishes of each client. Precisely thanks to this approach, Arhimod has fulfilled a large number of diverse wishes of satisfied customers and developed a vast number of completely new building types, remaining faithful to the principle with which it was founded—that every building is made to measure for the person who will live or work in it.

One of the important moments in Arhimod’s development was the decision to build our own administrative building using the modular system. Not as a demonstration, but as an everyday working space. In doing so, we showed what we truly believe—that modular construction is not a compromise, but an equal, and often a better choice compared to traditional construction.

Since autumn 2025, Arhimod has been operating at a new location in Bubanj Potok, with larger production capacities and improved process organization. This change represents a natural continuation of growth and development, as well as a clear message that Arhimod remains long-term committed to quality, innovation, and technology.

Eight years later, Arhimod is not just a company that builds structures. Arhimod is a team of people, knowledge, and experience, who believe in a transparent process, clear deadlines, and a partnership relationship with clients.
